Electromyography (EMG) is the study of muscle activity by measuring electrical signal associated with the contraction of a muscle. Clinicians and researchers can apply the study of surface EMG to the fields of biomechanics, human motion modeling, ergonomics.
Because of very high impedance, little or no skin preparation is required giving an ultra high quality signal without the use of gels or creams.
Independent of the number of active EMG sensors being used at any one time only one ground reference cable is required.
The preamplifiers are attached to DataLINK and the EMG default settings are chosen within the Management software. EMG raw data is collected and analysed within the analysis software.
